Kiven is a graduate of the lone anglosaxon university in Cameroon - The University of Buea. He holds a Bsc in Journalism and Mass Communication and a handfull of diplomas in other areas such as Human Rights, Advocacy and Lobbying, Development Studies and Administration.
From 2000 to 2008, kiven worked for several media organs in Cameroon amongst which were The Herald newspaper, The Watchdog and The Inquirer for print, Cameroon National Television, Abakwa Fm Radio Bamenda, Afrique Nouvelle Fm Radio Bamenda, Satellite Fm Radio Yaounde and Ocean City Radio Limbe for audio visual.
He has to his credit more than 600 published articles, over 400 interviews,uncountable radio documentaries and reports and about 24 publications including research reports and training manuals.
In 2002, He launched a sports newspaper in English Speaking Cameroon known as INFOsports which was later developped into a monthly sports magazine.
Kiven is a prolofic sports writer, has a good sense of humour in his artistic work and can drive readers crazy with cultural rightups from accross Africa.
He presently works as communication officer for the United Nations Centre for Human Rights and Democracy in Central Africa.
