Welcome to Suite 101 and my profile!
I received my BA in Psychology in 1995, but stayed in the corporate business world and also explored part-time career opportunities after the birth of my son. He had special needs and working part-time allowed me countless hours to put toward his healing and my great love of research.
In digging in and searching for the best therapies for him, I was able to learn about CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine). I was truly shocked to see just how many alternatives were out there to help those with physical challenges. And, it became a passion of mine. So, I went back to get my massage therapy license and am now a Licensed Massage Therapist and am Nationally Certified in both Massage Therapy and Bodywork. I am also a Reiki Practitioner.
I guess you could say I'm a Massage Therapist/Energy worker/Healer/Artist/Writer!!!! Truly, my son's challenges have given me the greatest gift of following all of my passions. And, I feel honored to get to share with you many of the things that I learn as I research along the way.
