Though I majored in Journalism and Media Studies and minored in Cinema Studies as an undergraduate at Rutgers University, I have always been more interested in writing about film more than writing about, or reporting on, anything else. I started writing entertainment reviews/articles regularly about four years ago, during my sophomore year at Rutgers, for the Daily Targum’s weekly entertainment section. A couple years later, I was promoted to film editor for that section. (One of my biggest scoops was getting an interview with film director Michael Apted regarding 49 Up, the latest entry in his majestic Up documentary series.) In the meantime, I also did a brief stint as a contributor of film-related articles to Home News Tribune, a local paper in East Brunswick. Since then, I have tried, slowly but surely, to branch out to online publishing. I have primarily contributed reviews and articles to The House Next Door, a fairly well renowned film blog with a large crew of impassioned contributors, and I also have written about entertainment-related subjects on my own personal blog, My Life, at 24 Frames Per Second. For my day job, I work as a news assistant at The Wall Street Journal, assisting news editors who work primarily for the Asia and Europe editions of the Journal. I currently live in East Brunswick, New Jersey. Latest Articles
