I have been writing online and offline for three years. On August 10, 2008 the Chicago Tribune published my editorial Thrifty Is Now Cool. I have interviewed Anne Wilde, co-founder of the national organization Principle Voices, and award-winning journalist and author Andrea Moore-Emmett. I was invited to contribute to the political weblog PoliGazette by editor-in-chief Michael van der Galien in January 2008. My online work has been linked by Jules Crittenden, editor and columnist at the Boston Herald, and Don Surber, editor and columnist at the Charleston Daily Mail.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts and have also studied Journalism. I have worked as a dancer and actress in outdoor drama and as an extra in major motion pictures. I have also lived with and cared for a variety of cats since childhood, both purebred and stray.
