Keetha DePriest ReedSuite101 Member Born and raised in the Mississippi Delta, I grew up in a family long on get-togethers, reunions, and holidays, all of which involved food and plenty of it. I earned a bachelor's degree in hospitality management from the University of Southern Mississippi and has done master's level work in journalism at the University of Mississippi. My background includes award-winning public relations work and works published in Woman's Day Best Ideas for Christmas, Mississippi Magazine, The Clarion-Ledger, Delta Magazine, and more. I wrote Culinary Kudzu: Recollections & Recipes from Growing Up Southern in 2002. More Culinary Kudzu will be published spring 2006. |
