I work as a professional photojournalist for a small community newspaper. I enjoy writing and write Web content whenever I can. I also enjoy photography and often go out to shoot nature and wildlife.

I have written for magazines and have been published in a local Hudson Valley magazine called Family Life. I have also been published on the Web at www.associatedcontent.com and worked as a ghost writer for www.workaholics4hire.com and www.textbrokers.com I work on creative stories whenever I can and I'm trying to teach myself character development.

Writing runs in the family. My mother enjoyed writing children stories and romance novels. I have a lot of her manuscripts--along with a few rejection slips--. At some point I want to go through them and see what can be done to get her published. She is no longer with us, but I think it would be great if I could get them published in her memory. It will be quite a project.
