Kate owns and runs a vintage clothes business in St Andrews, Scotland, where she specialises in clothing and accessories from the 1920s through to the 1980s. She is particularly interested in the history of school uniforms and is part way through a M.Litt in Art History, with this as one of the main areas of study. Rather at odds to this she also has a degree in Biochemistry from Durham University and a M.Res in Environmental Biology from St Andrews. Kate has travelled extensively in Eastern Europe.
