Kate Bettison

My career so far has been varied to say the least. After dabbling in social work, aged care, dog training and sales to try and find my passion, I have finally admitted to myself that my one true love is writing.

I am now a freelance writer in both creative fiction and non-fiction and I am studying the tools of my trade by undertaking a Graduate Diploma in Creative Writing at the University of Adelaide. I have written creatively since the age of six - a very interesting poem about cats if I recall correctly.

My other loves are history, mythology and, of course, my dogs. Oh, and my partner in life and love!
