As an avid reader and film lover, I spend much of my time reading books and watching movies. Luckily, I have managed to apply this to my professional life. After earning a Bachelor's degree in English, Literature from Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2005, I went on to earn a Master's degree in English, Literature from the same University. Although my focus area was American Literature, I've studied British Literature, World Literature, and Film, as well. Since 2006 I've taught college English and Literature courses for MSU, Mankato. Currently, I teach for Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, where I have worked since 2008. Courses I have taught include Compostion, Introduction to Literature, Introduction to Prose Literature, and 20th Century American Literature. In additon to teaching, I have also published book reviews for The Corresponder (Fall 2006 and Fall 2008), a publication through Minnesota State University, Mankato, and I look forward to writing here at Suite 101. |
