Janet Rogers

Janet is South African, but currently lives in Moscow, Russia. She started her career as a teacher, but after a few years other opportunities beckoned and she left the profession. Before leaving South Africa in 2003, she worked as an information analyst for a consulting firm. She has focused on writing since exchanging Africa’s sun for the Northern hemisphere’s challenging winters – first in Montreal and now in Moscow. She has written for a Moscow-based magazine for expatriates, covering a variety of subjects, and for a South African newspaper.
