Joel McConvey

Joel McConvey is a Toronto-based writer and critic. His writing on film, music, travel and pop culture has appeared in a variety of publications, including the National Post, CBC.ca, McSweeney's, Culture + Travel, Cinema Scope, Eye Weekly, Dose, FFWD and the Walrus online, for which he writes a regular blog. He has interviewed everyone from Charlize Theron and Anthony Hopkins to David Cronenberg and Catherine Hardwicke, and is an expert on the culture of South Korea, where he lived and worked for two years.
