Catherine Jozwik
Suite101.com Contributing Writer
Catherine Jozwik is a twenty-eight-year-old freelance writer that works full time at a used bookstore. Catherine was born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, where she currently resides.
A self-proclaimed bibliophile, she has been writing short stories and poetry since she was about six years old and would spend entire summers in the public library metabolizing young adult novels. Her favorite authors include George Orwell, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Bret Easton Ellis, Judy Blume, and Robert Cormier although she will read almost anything she can get her hands on.
Catherine has written for various Milwaukee publications including the Catholic Herald and The Post, the student newspaper for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is a member of the Milwaukee Writers' Workshop, a critique group for local writers. She is expected to receive her Bachelor Of Arts degree in English from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee this December and is very excited to share her love of literature and language with readers worldwide. She is currently writing a novel, tentatively entitled Nerd Tape, about a twelve-year-old girl's quest for truth about the painful reality of adolescence and has a penchant for dark chocolate, caffeine, and classic rock and mopey British music like the Smiths and Joy Division.
