John Pint specializes in teaching English "The Silent Way." As a teacher of EFL and a teacher trainer, he has lived in Jamaica, Italy, Korea, Spain, France, Saudi Arabia and the USA. His permanent home is in Mexico, "somewhere between Guadalajara and Tequila."

John Pint has been camping, hiking and exploring caves in Saudi Arabia and western Mexico since the early 1980's. His books include Outdoors in Western Mexico (with his wife Susana, translated into Spanish as Al Aire Libre en las Cercanías de Guadalajara), Desert Caves of Saudi Arabia, Telephone Talk , the Encounter English seriesand The Adventures of Lucky Luke (for students of English) plus numerous articles in the National Speleological Society News, Tapatio Magazine, Ahlan WaSahlan (Saudi Arabian Airlines magazine) and the Guadalajara Reporter, where he writes a weekly column.

John and Susana Pint opened the first Mail Boxes Etc. stores in the interior of Mexico.

Pint is a member of the Commission on Volcanic Caves of the International Union of Speleology.
