Recent Blog PostCreationism, Evolution, and the Common Cuckoo in England
Human activities are endangering many species, and this is a serious problem for creationists and evolutionists alike.
I have an Honours Degree in Zoology, a PhD in Marine Biology and am a Chartered Biologist and Fellow of the Society of Biology - (CBiol FSB). I spend half my time in Great Ayton (North Yorkshire UK) and the other half in Villeneuve de Duras (Lot et Garonne FR). I have developed a keen interest in the natural history of both places, and am keen to share my enthusiasm with anyone who will listen (or read!). I am also the Operational Director of Rubaidh Ltd (a 'Ruby on Rails' software consultancy in Scotland), and that – together with my regular writing for Suite101, relaxed walking and gardening in France, occasional lecturing when back home in Yorkshire, and enthusiastic grandparenting activities – keeps me busier than before I retired! Read some of my Suite101 articles and email me with any comments you might have. You might even like to get an RSS feed to be made aware of new articles as they are published. |
