Jim Henvick has been in the jewelry business for over 14 years. Jim began his career in gemology in 1993 looking for an engagement ring. After many good and bad experiences, he came across a priviately owned jewerlry store in Peoria, Illinois called Johnson and Vaughn Jewellers where he met John Vaughn, the manager and part owner. In the hour or so that John and Jim talked engagement rings, John was impressed with Jim's eagerness to learn about diamonds. After a brief discussion with this business partner, Brenda Johnson, John called Jim up and offered him a full time sales position. Jim had found both an engagement ring and a new career. Since then, Jim has received his GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Diamond and Diamond Grading Certificate and his Colored Stone Certificate. He has also worked Rogers and Hollands Jewelers, a large family owned company with over 80 stores located in the Mid-West, where he was offered multiple awards including Manager of the Year and Platnium Club. Jim is currently managing an Hannoush Jewelery store in Chesterfield, Missouri.
