<p>I am a writer. My first poems were written when I was in the nineth grade. "My Inspiration" a poem written after my mother's death was published in an anthology in 1997. I received an award of Editer's Choice. I began writing at Suite 101 in 1999 and continue writing about my Hearing Impairment/Writing every week. I entered the contest here at Suite 101. I hope to win one of the three grand prizes to fly to Chicago and attend the Book Expo in May. I have attended two Writer's Conference's both in areas of California. I have two websites on the Internet for Writers.
