Jeannine Guilyard is the founder and editor of Pyramid Arts & Literature Magazine, a publication that bridges culture between New York and Italy. The idea behind Pyramid came to her when she lived in Rome back in the 90's. She wanted a publication that would take her off the beaten path of tourist attractions and museums.
Jeannine loves Italian cinema and has three monthly columns dedicated to the subject in "Fra Noi", an Italian-American publication based in Chicago and the Italian American Community Newspaper in Rochester, New York.
In 2002, she was awarded an Emmy for her participation as an editor for ABC's "Special Report" following the events of September 11, 2001. Also in 2002, she wrote and directed the short film, "Gelsomina" which was selected for the Screenings Program of the 59th Venice Film Festival.
Jeannine is currently working on a book about the new generation of Italian cinema.
