Jessica Sprunt

Jessica obtained her BA from the University of Toronto with a double major in history and near and middle eastern civilization. During her years as a student she studied a wide variety of historical content. Top 10 favourite classes she attended during her post secondary experience are: Europe 1648 - 1815, Scientific Revolutions, The Americas, History of American Sports, 19th & 20th Century Germany, Ancient Egypt, Modern Espionage, Archaeology of the Ancient Near East, Gender and the Holocaust and The Hebrew Bible.

In the fall of 2008 Jessica had the opportunity to travel overseas and explore first hand some of the people, places and things she had spent the last few years learning about. She walked down the same street Julius Cesar once did, navigated her way through the catacombs in Paris and visited the Secret Annex in Amsterdam. Jessica is eager to travel more in the near future and hopes that her articles inspire people to get out and visit such places themselves.

In addition to her writing Jessica has recently started working with her local Rogers T.V. station, volunteering her time to research, write, produce and star in history related segments.

Other hobbies include photography, watching movies and planning her up coming wedding.
