Jason Winter

Jason Winter has been a freelance writer and editor for 10 years. Most of his work has appeared in the pages of Scrye magazine, for which he served as an associate editor for five years. That stint included three years as an in-house editor for F&W Publications, contributing to several of the company's other magazines, including their comics, sports-card, and gaming publications, as well as writing and editing several books on collectibles. He's also done marketing work and copywriting for two game companies, Decipher Inc. and Press Pass Inc. and co-designed a trading-card game based on the hit Fox series 24.

Jason is also a diehard sports fan from Minnesota who follows both the Twins and Vikings and maintains a Viking-centric blog on The Sporting News' web site. He currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina.
