I have big news - as of March 4, 2008, I have temporary custody of my cousin Christopher. He's a good napper, so I should have some time to write. It may not be much, but I'll take what I can get and be happy with it.

I love football! I love to write, too, so being at Suite101 allows me to engage in my passions. My teams are the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Florida Gators, but if it's American football, I'll watch it no matter who is playing. I've even been known to watch NFL Europa and Arena games when I think nobody's watching me.

My professional experience includes jobs in law enforcement, emergency medical services and journalism. I have been a freelance writer on and off for several years now, and my goal is to go full-time with my writing as soon as humanly possible.

I've had an internet radio show and been a music reviewer in my spare time. My radio show had a loyal following of great listeners who came to chat with me every week. One of the big thrills of my internet radio career was interviewing Steve Howe of Yes on two occasions. I met a lot of great musicians and fans in the progressive rock and metal genres through my radio show, and I'd do it all over again if I had the time.
