Ivy Liu

Ivy Liu is a freelance writer and marketer with many years of experience working in the information technology, real estate, and finance industries.

Since her undergraduate studies, she has been immersed in all things online -- starting from when she taught HTML workshops to university student clubs to advocate the need for student organizations websites, and then went on to become the first webmaster for her own student club.

Ivy has held several marketing, management, and technical roles with small to large companies, freelance clients, and for her own small business initiatives. While pursuing her Marketing MBA part-time, Ivy’s writing credits included: a feature story for the NYU Stern Opportunity newsletter, and travel writing as the New York City dining and entertainment features writer for Jetsetters, an online magazine.

For over a decade, Ivy has been a marketer, writer, and webmaster for dozens of websites and blogs. She recently left the corporate world as a marketing director for an architectural firm to return to her roots and pursue her passions in online writing, marketing, and web development.

Ivy is a graduate from New York University, Stern School of Business, holding a BS with a double major in Information Systems and Finance, and an MBA in Marketing.
