Heather Strong
Contributing Writer
Heather is a full time worker and full time student with an ardent love for American History and Government. She currently lives in Georgia, in the heart of most of her historical interests, although she is originally from Vermont and remains passionate about her New England roots.
Her hobbies include reading horror stories and comic books, and writing both fiction and non-fiction. She loves silent films, and music from the early 1900s. She and her spouse have five cats, one dog, and a dwarf hamster named Francis, after Sir Francis Walsingham.
Heather has been approached by McFarland Publishing to write a book about Deadball Era Red Sox pitcher Joe Wood, and she has written extensively about political figures such as Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, and Hermann Goering, as well as other historical figures in literature, sports and society.
