Jessica Cresseveur - Profile

Jessica Cresseveur hold three degrees in art history: an Associate of Arts from Elizabethtown Community College (Elizabethtown, KY), a Bachelor of Arts from University of Louisville (Louisville, KY), and a Master of Arts from University College London (London, England, UK). She plans to begin studying for her Ph.D at some point in the future; however, at present, it remains a question of when.

Jessica's MA dissertation focused on the role that Jacques-Louis David played as a teacher of women painters in Paris from the mid-1780s until his exile in 1816. With proper time and additional research, she hopes to further develop this topic and publish it as a full-length book.

Jessica's essays have appeared in Freethought Today the now defunct ThemeStream.com, and most recently at Radio News America.com. When she is not writing, she teaches art appreciation at her local community college and co-manages campus arts festivals. She is also active in media reform.

Jessica resides in Indiana with her boyfriend and their two cats.
