Holly Stacey is a writer of teen fiction, freelance writer, publisher, and an archaeologist. Her first two degrees in archaeology give her ample inspiration for dark fiction. Her award winning debut novel, The Faerie Conspiracies, uses the historical backdrop of her home in Essex, UK as sinister stage for her dark faeries.
She also manages and directs the small publishing house Wyvern Publications, which specialises in teen fiction. Each year, Wyvern Publications aims to publish 1-3 books. The 'tales' anthologies are out every year and started with Dragontales, short stories that in some way feature dragons and wyverns. The anthology was an immediate hit and was then followed by Mertales. The company also have an annual short story competition that is also gaining in popularity.
