Holly Lynn Anderson is a part-time freelance writer living in Little Rock, Arkansas.
She works full-time as Grants & Agreements Specialist with the Natural Resources Conservation Service, an agency of the Department of Agriculture. Holly has over 25 years experience working in environmental regulatory and conservation work, including positions in government, consulting, and industry. She has a B.S. in Environmental Science and an M.A. in Professional and Technical Writing.
Holly has been a regular contributor to Learning Through HIstory Magazine, an educational history magazine for children. She was also a contributor to the Arkansas Encyclopedia of HIstory and Culture.
She was the inaugural winner of the Bobbie Jones McClane Award for family history writing sponsored by the Arkansas Genealogical Society, with her winning article published in the society's magainze. Holly was also a presentor at the SW/TX Popular/American Culture Association Conference in 2008.
She is a charter member and was formerly on the Board of Directors of the Arkansas Environmental Education Association. She is also a member of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
