I live in Mumbai on the west coast of India. I am an engineer by education, have worked as an executive for most of my career but am passionate about literature, especially Indian Literature.

I have found that a great deal of Indian culture springs from its mythology and religion and in order to understand Indian literature I had to learn its mythology and understand its religion. It has been a fascinating journey which I now share with others.

I have edited the section on Indian mythology at http://www.dmoz.org/ which is a directory on the net. I have written articles on Indian mythology at this site. My course on Hindu Mythology is available on Suite101. I am currently writing articles on Hinduism

I believe that religion is much more than theology alone and if understood in a holistic way it has the ability to empower the individual. And it is this holistic I approach I will be striving for.
