I am a 32-year-old married freelance writer. I am now living in Pittsburgh, but was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. While attending the University of MO at St. Louis, I wrote a bi-weekly humor column for their newspaper. Later, I wrote art reviews and edited the art page for a monthly high-brow arts and entertainment magazine. Between full-time teaching positions, I wrote descriptions and reviews of children's software for a large online database. Finally, I recently began proofreading for Project Gutenberg, a group who prepares public domain texts for online publication.

My interests include creative writing, surfing the web, listening to music (80s being my preference), and, perhaps my biggest vice, singing karaoke. I have a disability called Osteogenesis Imperfecta, which causes brittle bones and short stature. I use a motorized wheelchair.

I am married to a man with the same disability. We met nearly three years ago in an online bulletin board for adults with our disability.

I have many interests, including but not limited to karaoke, writing, reading (fiction, nonfiction, erotica, horror, etc.), internet, education, and 80s pop music. I would feel comfortable writing about any of these topics.

I am an avid reader of many Yahoo! Groups, as well as sites that showcase creative writing.
