Patrick Watson

Patrick Watson is a Canadian/Australian ex-journalist for Brisbane's metro daily The Courier-Mail. Since his days at the news, police, arts and features desk he has freelanced for a variety of online and print publications while travelling the world. After an early training in Judo and Muay Thai, he dedicated himself to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu where he now feels at home. Between work as an educator, researcher and journalist he has taken one too many knocks to the head and decided writing about MMA is as fun as competing in it (almost).
