Robert Halmo

Contributor

Robert Halmo has been writing professionally for nearly 30 years -- the last 11 as a full-time freelance writer. Along the way, he has been a Creative Director for an advertising agency, a Director of Marketing, a Senior Writer, and has written extensively for such clients as General Motors, Daimler-Chyrsler and Ford. He is also a frequent contributor to The Oakland Press, and has clients in the U.S. and abroad.

In addition, Robert founded and owns a small book publishing company, Wayfarer Press, LLC, which has published two children's picture books (on divorce) and two adult non-fiction books to date.

Robert has been passionate about writing for pleasure (making stuff up), and writing for profit (making stuff up for clients willing to pay someone to make stuff up) for most of his life.

He has also authored three books (a fantasy novel, a humorous book about relationship advice for men, and a book about religion and politics -- talk about stretching one's skills and areas of interest!) because, well, he really enjoys making stuff up, sounding authoritative, and duping the unsuspecting into paying good money to read it. Future books are also in the works, including fantasy, sci-fi and horror novels...along with any other stuff he can think of to make up, including, but not limited to, articles for Suite101.com.
