Karen Hancock has been cooking, eating, reading about, dreaming about, and writing about Food, her favorite subject, for over 40 years. She owns a catering business, Eclectic Epicurean, in Bountiful, Utah where she lives, and also teaches cooking classes to women’s, religious, community, and private company groups. In addition, Karen is a flight attendant for a major airline and travels the world, tasting new dishes, then recreating those dishes for use in her catering business, cooking classes, and online articles. She is also the Quick Cooking editor for BellaOnline. Her goal as a contributing writer at Studio 101 is to submit articles that will help busy cooks everywhere create healthy, delicious, and attractive dishes in a minimum amount of time using modern appliances, kitchen gadgets, and top quality ingredients. Since Karen is an avid cookbook reader and collector, she also plans to contribute book reviews on the newest and her favorite cookbooks stored in her constantly growing library of over 2500 cookbooks. |
