Greg is a Freelance Writer/Photographer based near the town of Noosa, on the Queensland coast, Australia. He loves the local environment and combines his passion of photography and hiking whenever possible. Greg started his writing career communicating environmental and social issues after completing a degree in Environmental Science in 1998. He has travelled throughout Europe, the US, South-east Asia, the South Pacific and Australia, and likes writing about people, their cultures and nature. He enjoys mostly independent, adventure-based travel. He has lived in Switzerland and on the tiny island of Norfolk Island in the South Pacific. He has been published in various magazines, both national and international and is the Editor of a local environmental newspaper, Sunshine Coast Econews. Living on a 5-acre property of native bushland, he maintains a solar-powered house and enjoys growing his own food between writing assignments.
