After graduating university with a BS in Automotive Engineering Technology and a near perfect GPA, David took a job as an engineering intern in the oil sands of Northern Alberta. During this time he took his interest in journalism to a new level when he enrolled in a freelance journalism course.
Feeling unsatisfied with his internship he refused an offer for full time employment with Kiewit Energy Canada and instead decided to pursue his passion for film making and snowboarding. He quit his job and moved with his girlfriend to Whistler in BC, Canada. He now resides there working for the resort as a snowmaker.
