Biography

Tom's first article, written in 1975, was followed quickly by the first rejection slip of a growing collection. Ah, well. Rejections are the stone on which writers hone their craft.

He's been writing as a hobby ever since, with over 150 published (print) items and now aiming for 200 online at Suite101.

As Communications officer for Blue Falls Manufacturing, makers of Arctic Spas, Tom wrote/edited three corporate newsletters, drafted award applications, edited and tracked external memos, and wrote copy for ads, brochures, and manuals. Seconded to the IT department, he wrote software documentation and user training materials (see for example Wiki for Project ERP. The company canceled the project before it was completed, so the Wiki is incomplete).
