I have been nurturing my writing passion for most of my life , throughout my various careers which have provided me with a wealth of rich material.
Firstly, I followed the family tradition (my grandmother and mother as role models) in nursing, which although an expectation - was both rewarding and worthwhile.
I then entered the world of management and leadership, still operating within healthcare, but looking after staff instead of patients. Although fulfilling at times and able to exercise my writing pen within the corporate world, I found it too constraining and longed for more independence.
My third era, took me into self-employment, providing organisations with human resource, organisational and personal development support. During this time I worked within the UK and Russia,
And now… I am Editor of two international healthcare related journals, which provides the link to my genealogical calling and am committing myself to my deep desire to write. I am in the process (for the last number of years in fact) of writing my first novel - based in World War II. I have been experimenting with poetry, short stories and articles of interest and following a relocation of my life, am learning Italian.
I hope, in the not too distant future, to highlight links to my published material. Something, so the advice tells me, can only happen if I write.
