I have an M.A. from the State University of New York at New Paltz in English, where I taught Freshman Composition. I also wrote for several weekly newspapers and contributed to the New Britain Herald, located in Connecticut. Additionally, I write poetry and can say I've lived in five contiguous northeastern states. Now a freelancer, I write for Suite 101 and East Bay Newspapers. I am married and now live in Providence, Rhode Island.
