Geoff Poundes

Geoff Poundes is a full-time freelance writer, specialising in sports. A former professional boxing referee, he is currently a Feature Writer for RingsideReport.com, and has been published in various British and American boxing magazines.

He is currently working on a book surrounding the Hatton v Pacquiao contest in Las Vegas in May 2009, and a novel involving the Johnson-Jeffries contest in Reno on 1910.

Geoff is a member of the Sports Journalists' Association of Great Britain, and a member of the International Sports Press Association. He is also a member of the Boxing Writers Association of America.
