Raised by parents who traveled the world, I was privileged to grow up in four different countries within S.E. Asia and in one southern European country. College took me home to the U.S. and after graduating with an English degree in writing, I flew for Delta Air LInes for six years. After a plane crash stopped me in my tracks, I concentrated on my beautiful family which brought me back down to earth with the demands of babies and cooking and teaching.

For the past decade I've taught history, creative writing, literature, Latin and French to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade in a homeschool co-op. During the summer months I created and implemented curriculum, teaching writing classes and art classes at the local college for students in middle and high school.
Working in advertising sales, writing and editing for the SouthWest Florida Women's Digest in 2006 and 2007, I've enjoyed working within my community surrounded by talented, dedicated women. I'm currently raising a family, teaching high school, getting a Zumba Gold certification, working on a book of poetry and writing for Suite101.
