As a young opportunist, I don't want to be a product of my environment. I want my environment to be a product of me. Nearly a year since graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, I have worked with various online media outlets including Current TV and Americans for Informed Democracy (AIDE). Helping to promote Current TV on college campuses, I combined my work with AIDe when I served as an environmental political analyst. Participating in festivals, demonstrations, and information sessions, I covered current trends, campus initiatives, and governmental developments concerning the environment. This also includes the two-part interview with participants who attended the UN Climate Convention in Poland last Fall.
A certified nomad, I have been fortunate enough to travel extensively throughout the United States, Italy, and the Caribbean. With a world as large and diverse as it is, I have learned to appreciate the distinct regions and its inhabitants. Having an understanding of my one existence among many, I want to connect the world and share information, to form an educated community. After all, writing is a method used to touch a person's consciousness. The pen is always mightier than the sword.
