I probably qualify as a Formula One fanatic several times over. My bookshelves are bowed with the weight of books covering every aspect of grand prix racing. Over the past 15 years, F1 has been my sport of choice and I’ve been obsessively committed to it - ask my wife, I’ve dragged her across the globe on my F1 quests. I even hijacked our honeymoon.
Two years ago I started a small but very rewarding e-zine called Braketest that evolved into an electronic magazine. That first foray into writing was a fantastic experience and I aim to build on it with my freelance writing.
While I do acknowledge other forms of motor sport, most of my writing focuses on Formula 1. I have a great respect for the men and machines that have tested the limits of speed and I continue to be fascinated by epic tales from the early years of the sport.
I also do some motor racing photography and consider myself fortunate to haved worked amongst the mechanics and pilots of the now defunct CART series as well as with the easy-going and grass roots drivers of historic racing.
When not fixated on racing I can be found enjoying life with my amazing wife in Toronto, Canada.
