A graduate of Baylor University (BA) and Texas A&M Kingsville (MA), Emlyn worked as a teacher in Costa Rica and Japan, traveling whenever she could in Central and South America, Asia, and the Pacific Rim. For more than a decade she taught college English, and while she misses teaching poetry and literature, she is happy to leave piles of poorly conceived, hastily written Freshman essays in the past. Her work reflects her passions: discovering new and odd places, teaching, reading, biking, and eating anything that started out life as dough. Emlyn divides her time between Texas and Colorado (ask her if you need to know the cleanest restrooms along I25) and works as a writer for hire. Feel free to contact her.
