Frank , Frank Hardy

Frank was born in Germany to a German mother and American soldier after World War 2. Raised in the USA, he has Captained jets over 10 million miles in a career that spans 34 years in the airline industry.

That career has given him first hand experience from around the world. From the streets of Mumbai, India to the alleys of Sao Paulo, Brazil; Mombassa in Africa to Kiev in Ukraine, Frank is completely at home. Having been on every continent except Antarctica he has visited over 300 cities in Europe, Asia, North & South America, Australia and Africa.

His knowledge is first hand and different. Frank has lived in all areas of the USA from Connecticut in the Northeast to Florida in the South. California, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Arizona, NJ, North Carolina, Texas, Hawaii and Washington DC were once called home. Now retired, Frank still travels the world. Military trained with advanced degrees in Astronautics, History and Law, he currently lives in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Sometimes residing in his homes in Belize, Central America; Pamporovo, Bulgaria or Miami, Florida you will usually find him on the road.

Drop him a note and chat about whatever you want. Whether it is that funny waiter on the Basel Ecke in Frankfurt or those tiny beds in the Narita View Hotel in Tokyo, it will be fun.

Along with writing for Suite 101, he is also writing a book entitled If Only the Passenger Knew: Air Travel Around the World.
