Elizabeth Booth

Elizabeth Booth has worked as a professional writer/editor for over a decade. Getting her start in the dingy basement of her local campus radio station, she built her writing career on a love of music and movies. Working as the music editor at the Calgary Straight and later as the News Editor at Chart Magazine in Toronto, she has reviewed countless CDs and interviewed hundreds of musicians including Oasis, Beck, Belle And Sebastian, Liz Phair, Avril Lavigne and Nelly Furtado.

Since becoming a mother in 2005, Elizabeth has been spending more time at the playground than in the rock clubs and her writing focus has changed. Currently a regular contributor at FFWD Weekly, she has been writing in the film section (while still dabbling in music) and is also interested in parenting and lifestyle writing. An obsessive crafter and thrift store fiend, she also writes a craft blog and writes regularly about the craft scene.
