<p>I became fascinated with gardening as a child in Chicago. My mother and her sister could make things grow in places that wouldn't support mold! The ability to do that intrigued me and I went about learning at their feet. I now live in central Florida and enjoy the best weather for gardening. During the past 20 years I’ve traveled all over the United States as a wardrobe mistress for a fashion show, performed in local theatre, worked as an executive assistant for a financial firm, and functioned as a systems administrator for a small office. I dig in my garden by day and look at the stars and planets with my telescope at night. My cats enjoy both activities with me.</p>
