David Henry

David Henry, M.D., is a general surgery resident in Michigan and a graduate of medical school in Philadelphia. In five years, David plans to enter fellowship in either trauma or plastic surgery. Outside of the operating room, David likes to run, mountain bike, and hip-hop dance. David also played soccer for 14 years, did competitive track-and-field for 7 years, became a certified SCUBA diver, and learned some magic. A traveler of 150 cities in 14 countries, David's favorite locations include India, Spain, Mexico City, Grand Cayman, and Hawaii.

Two of David's most exciting academic ventures include rotating with orthopedic surgeons in two hospitals in Hyderabad, India and doing trauma surgery research at Harvard. Fairly new to Suite 101, David's articles will begin with medicine and hopefully expand to music, travel, and other venues.
