A look at the world of scrapbooking and how this hobby can be used by memoir, autobiography and biography writers to organise and inspire
Dulcinea is a writer, an avid reader, a loving wife, a terrible housewife, a mother of two, a Civil Servant and of course a freelance writer. She is based in a very small town in her home country of England. Dulcinea writes and owns a parenting and pregnancy website called Baby NuNu In addition to pregnancy and parenting Dulcinea's specialist area is writing and research tips and skills. This has been reflected in her previous work during her time as a Feature Writer for "Writing Memoirs" at Suite 101. Dulcinea is now working on a series of interviews with authors, publishers and people from the world of literature. Dulcinea's other topics of interests on Suite 101 are the history of iconic companies, the history and composition of perfumes, the history and recipes of cocktails, Patron Saints and Catholicism in popular culture. Dulcinea has also worked as the "Feeding Babies" Editor for Foodie Mama a website which has recipes and articles for moms of children from birth to school age. Dulcinea is an established ghost writer of ebooks, web content and training manuals. Dulcinea is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writer's and Illustrators. Dulcinea will also be seen in print in two anthologies later this year with her teen fiction short stories Ben Running and Death of a Violinist. Dulcinea's current works in progress include three picture books, two teen horror novels (one being co-authored by writer Boo Irwin) and a teen horror trilogy. Dulcinea writes under her own name and under the pen name Dee Carren You can read about all of Dulcinea's current stories and books due for publication and works in progress on her blog Dulcinea does all of her writing with a one year old trying to hit the laptop keys (he has already pulled the "L" key off!) and a four year old jumping on the sofa creating chaos and noise (or waits for the precious moment when they are both in bed). Needless to say the writing and mothering gets done, the housework doesn't. Dulcinea's work can also be seen at: DulcineaWrites (personal blog and writer's profile) Dulcinea's SCBWI Profile & blog Baby Nunu (her pregnancy and parenting website) Perfume FAQs (personal website) You can also follow her on Twitter under the name "DulcineaWrites" |
