Dale Uhlmann

Contributor

Greetings! I'm Dale Uhlmann, Kent State University adjunct English professor. I've taught freshman English and related writing college courses for KSU and other colleges and universities for the past twenty-eight years. This career has been a natural outlet for my passion for writing. Over the past seven years, I've published, online, eight short stories/novellas with www.wordshack.com. My most recent is "The Vampire," the third in my series of stories featuring young Italian-Native American professor Rachel Russo-Graffanino, and her battles against the superantural. As this might indicate, I have a fondness for the horror-fantasy genre, and if I'm ever eventually known as the "Stephen King of Massillon, OH," that would be great! I've also edited two full-length books: "My Fall from Grace: City Hall to Prison Walls," by former Chicago City Clerk James J. Laski (a must-read for anyone interested in learning more about the "down and dirty" world of Chicago politics), and Dr. Nash Gabrial's forthcoming answer to America's health care crisis, "Good Medicine Is Cheap Medicine." In addition to writing, my other interests include film history and Major League Baseball. I look forward to putting my interests and skills to work with Suite 101.--Dale Uhlmann.
