Leslie Frederick - Profile

Ducks are not normally considered crafty birds, but in

my case they would have to make an exception. I'm Leslie Frederick and for the last ten years,I've been working in the

crafts field in some form or another. Currently I'm a member

of the Society of Crafts Designers and a Certified Professional

Demonstrater for the Hobby Industry of America.

I've been Rubber Stamping for three years and find that it

combines many of the things I love best about crafting. Its quick, colorful and has tons of wonderful applications. The

stamps can be clever and cute or sophisticated and stunning.

Stamping can be done on fabric or furniture and can be used

as a gift of a decorative piece for your home.

My other loves in the craft world include scrapbooking,

silk painting and working with vellum and other specialty papers. I've had several published designs and articles and

am currently working on a mystery novel that combines my love

of reading mysteries with my love of crafts.

I also love animal and currently have four dogs, three cats,

a snake, two ferrets, a rat, mice and a hedgehog all under one

roof. My husband jokes that we have our own food chain.

I have three wonderful kids, two sons and a daughter and

a down-to-earth darling husband.
