Doug Fraser Loblaw - Profile

Doug joined the Suite101.com team in June, 2000, to help direct the company's growth and development plans in the coming years. He brought with him a variety of business experiences, including 12 years of Sales and Marketing with Scott Paper Ltd., Retired Business Instructor (Marketing and Advertising), and former Chair of Business at Capilano College in North Vancouver. He is currently a Faculty member of Thompson Rivers University-Open Learning Division, and proprietor of a marketing consulting firm,Canad Communications Ltd.

In 2002,his former company, Creative Marketeam Canada Ltd.(CMC), purchased the assets of the website Suite101.com from the previous owners and he continued to develop the business. Doug also helped to grow the company by developing Suite's online learning program which offers some 150 different courses that are available free of charge on the site.

In June of 2006 the ownership of CMC changed but Doug remains an active shareholder and Director of the Company. Doug has a BA in French from the University of Toronto. His focus is now in helping his new partners at Suite101.com Media Inc. build the business into an even more successful enterprise.
