Danielle Dawkins

Starting as a Political Science major at Howard University it was during the second semester of my freshmen year that I switched my major to print journalism. I didn't totally drop poli sci; I kept it as my minor. During my four years at Howard I contributed articles to the student publications "The Hilltop", and "Blackcollegeview.com". I also contributed to a quarterly publication in my home state of Delaware, called "Your Daily Bread". After graduating in 2006 I have maintained a status as a freelancer with "associatedcontent.com". I also blog on my Myspace profile, where I write about everything usually being silly, sarcastic, and try to be funny. I take blogging seriously and try to blog everyday, but I am very silly for the most part. My future goals are to be a published author in fiction novels. I have been writing ever since I recieved my first diary in the first grade and really decided to have a career in writing when I was 12-years-old. I can't imagine doing anything else.
