The Prodigal Sci-Fi Feature Writer Returns
With apologies to all of my loyal readers, it's been quite an eventful summer, one which has seen many changes.

Dominic Messier is a Toronto-based freelance writer/film nut, and current Sci-Fi TV Feature Writer, and Film & TV Contributing Writer for Suite101. He lives in downtown Toronto with his lovely and patient wife, Suite101 Contributing Writer and multiple Editor's Choice winner Naomi Szeben. Dominic is also the Staff Writer for Bell Sympatico's InMovies website.
With interests ranging from documentaries to musicals, from romantic comedies to slasher horror flicks, and of course, sci-fi works, Dom finds that refusing to limit one's taste in film, offers plenty of opportunity to discover hidden gems.
To the best of his recollection, Dom began watching films at an early age, and never stopped. After 2383 films and counting (he decided to start rating films seen to date once, and kept going...), he decided to apply his extensive knowledge of film minutiae, and is having lots of fun doing it.
Dom lives for movies and their escapist value, finding there's (almost) nothing more pleasant than to get away from daily life for 90 or so minutes, exploring the fictitious universe at large.
